Diagnostic test for Rubarth’s disease CAV-1 ICH Ag for dogs

Rubarth’s disease, otherwise known as canine infectious hepatitis, is a contagious viral disease. It is particularly dangerous for puppies. Symptoms often include: fever, lethargy, jaundice, tonsillitis, an enlarged liver, vomiting, abdominal pain, weight loss, a milky or cloudy blue appearance in the eyes.

How to perform the CAV-1 ICH Ag test?

Unpack the test

Remove the test device from the sealed pouch and place it on the flat surface

Prepare the solution

Place 40μL of the serum or plasma into an assay buffer tube and mix them well.

Apply the solution

Add 3 drops of the solution into the sample well.

Wait

Interpret the test results after 5-10 minutes.
Results read earlier or later may be falsified
DO NOT READ THE TEST RESULTS AFTER 10 MINUTES!

Interpretation of the results

Positive result: two colored lines will appear - in the test line zone and control line zone
Negative result: only one colored line will appear in the control line zone
Invalid result: the colored line does not appear in the control line zone
